How We Grade Our Coins

We follow internationally recognised numismatic grading standards to describe every coin's condition with precision. Our grading scale is based on the Sheldon Numerical Scale (1–70), adapted with descriptive qualifiers familiar to Indian collectors:

Poor (P-1) — Heavily worn; design barely identifiable.
Fair / About Good (AG-3) — Major design elements visible but heavily worn.
Good (G-4 to G-6) — Outline clear; most detail worn flat.
Very Good (VG-8 to VG-10) — Design clear with some inner detail.
Fine (F-12 to F-15) — Moderate to considerable wear; all major features sharp.
Very Fine (VF-20 to VF-35) — Light to moderate wear on high points.
Extremely Fine (EF/XF-40 to XF-45) — Slight wear on highest points only; full detail visible.
About Uncirculated (AU-50 to AU-58) — Trace wear; nearly full mint lustre.
Mint State / Uncirculated (MS-60 to MS-70) — No wear; graded by strike quality, lustre, and eye appeal.

Where a coin carries a third-party certification (e.g., NGC, PCGS, or equivalent), the slab grade and certification number are referenced in the product description.

Error Coin Identification & Documentation

Error coins are among the rarest and most fascinating items in the numismatic world. At EverRise Treasures, we apply rigorous scrutiny before classifying any coin as an error. Our process includes:

Visual Examination — High-magnification inspection of both obverse and reverse surfaces to identify die cracks, cuds, doubled dies, misaligned dies (MAD), off-centre strikes, grease-filled die errors, and lamination issues.
Error Classification — Each error type is named and described precisely (e.g., Grease Filled Die Error + Misaligned Die (MAD) Error) so collectors understand exactly what they are acquiring.
Photographic Evidence — High-resolution images in listings capture the error from the optimal angle to make it clearly visible, with written annotations where necessary.
Cross-Reference — Known error varieties are cross-referenced against published references and collector catalogues to confirm rarity and classification.

Return Window — Contact us within 7 days of receipt if you believe a coin does not match its listing description. To claim a return or refund for items damaged in transit, missing items, or wrong products, customers must record a continuous, unedited unboxing video starting from before the outer courier seal is broken until the contents are completely revealed. Failure to provide a valid, untampered unboxing video will invalidate any claims.
Expert Review — We will review your concern and, if warranted, arrange for independent verification.
