ERRORS -
1) Out Of Collar Strike Error - During production, a metal ring called a "retaining collar" locks the coin blank in place. If it is missing or misaligned, the metal expands outward under intense press pressure. This free flow creates an irregular, wavy, and bumpy rim as visible in both images,
2) Weak Strike Error - "Lion Jaw Drop effect" - A weak strike error occurs when the coining press stamps the design with insufficient pressure. Because the central Ashoka emblem is the thickest part of the coin, the metal fails to fill the deepest parts of the steel die. This leaves the national emblem completely flattened, giving the center lion a distorted, mushy, and "jaw dropped" effect where its mouth and facial structure appear to droop downwards,
