The Hindi word “भारत” (Bharat) appears weak and partially missing due to a grease-filled die error. Grease and other debris accumulated in the recessed areas of the obverse die, preventing the die from making proper contact with the planchet during striking. As a result, the metal could not fully flow into the affected portions of the lettering, causing “भारत” to appear faint, incomplete, and poorly defined.
